We All Fall Short, Inevitably

But, how to get going from there, defines you

This one struck me this morning and was not able to move away from the image. On deeper thinking, came to the light how this can help others in the form of being “Resilient”

Falling short — This is not something wrong. It’s a cyclical way of how things are viewed by others or by yourself. Falling short- compared to what? Is it like a comparison to another human being or another quality product? or what’s the comparison bar?

  1. If you are very successful in your corporate life, you may be falling short in your personal life. i.e. you may not be able to attend your kid’s school programs or attend teachers' meetings.
  2. If you are too good at sports, you may be falling short in your studies.
  3. If you are not good at anything, you may be falling short in how you judge yourself.
  4. If you feel inferior, then someone is actually making you feel that way.

In all these scenarios, it’s the way you view yourself — which matters a lot. There could be 100 opinions about yourself in the world. All it matters is “How do you see yourself?” or “How do you judge yourself” on every small action you do. That MATTERS.
