Its not about COVID-19, but about the Coffee shop which is sending vibes across.

The visit to Third Wave Coffee came with a huge surprise and suddenly felt out of place. Was I living in a world (Sydney) which is like 5 years backwards??? There was laptops everywhere, young crowd hanging out and seems to be working seriously in a office work. La.! it was like that when I genuinely enquired my friend. They were working and as productive as possible. The scene had changed in last 5 years. Last I was in Bangalore was in Year 2016.. and now its 2022. I was used to more hierarchical, structured type of work where data privacy and information going out of office was completely unthinkable. Now, COVID and fully digital mode of working anywhere (remotely) has changed everything. There has been acceptance from employer, relentless push from employees to work from remote places and very reluctant to come back to first tier cities like Bangalore or Chennai.

Collecting the thoughts back to Third Wave, it was really a eye opening experience. Co-working was happening there, people were spending almost full day of work/half day of work!. Something which has caught my attention is also about the exclusivity. Everyone was busy but no one was trying to understand/comprehend what others were doing (except me).. So, you get the right mixture of ambience.

Co working has become the real theme these days and it as echoed not just by one person I met, but by multitude of people.
